It often occurs for us to have problems opening and sliding the drawers and walking around in kitchen, realizing that there just is not adequate space.
In the following, Atra industrial group recommends global standard measurements and spaces for kitchen furniture and decoration.
A. In a space containing a dining table, work table or any other type of chair and table combination, a least distance of 120 cm from the wall must be maintained to allow easy passage.
B. If there are shelves or drawers behind the table, this distance is added for 15 cm (135 total), to preserve a space for opening the drawers, etc.
C. If there is a dishwasher or drawer in front of the counter, sufficient space for their opening and the user is required. This measurement is 120 cm in global standards.
D. If there is a wall in front of the dishwasher or drawer, in addition to adequate space for using the elements, an added space for passing must be implemented.
